This is an exercise in sewing as I'm just trying to get back in the swing of things...
I have deliberately focused on stitch hear by limiting my color palette I've created a flow of stitch and crochet applique pieces that lead the eye around the work.
Using a variety of textural stitches like french knots to add to the movement through the piece.
Teaching an embroidery class this week has reminded me of how much I enjoy sewing, and I'm hopeing to get more of this piece done this weekend.
Need to start thinking about framing this piece as it nearly completed...
Finally got some time to work on this piece this week, I spent several hours doing french knots creating texture in this piece.
Due to illness i had to take time out but now i'm feeling a little better its time to get this one finished. Photos soon Dxxx
