The Tree Project















This is my latest textile project. New beginning, just starting the preparation. Starting to get the fabrics ready. Dxxx

    The first trees are cut and pinned to a backing fabric which will be trimmed. This just makes the fabric easier to sew on to add texture.

    Added new photos, 17/9/11
    Here I've stitched the finer fabric to a piece of backing fabric to give it more stability and I've added some of the machine stitching that has begun to give the tree some definition and I have also begun to add layers of colour... Dxxx
